John Stephens
BSc MSc. DC. RawDip LRCC

Chiropractor & Sports Therapist

John has been practicing in the surrounding area of Emsworth for the last fifteen years and in this time has built up a steady reputation for providing an effective and caring establishment for many.  Being a dual qualified Sports Therapist and a state registered Chiropractor brings the benefits of an open-minded practitioner together in one place. With the insight into human movement and biomechanics you gain from Chiropractic and the soft tissue vocation of Sports Therapy this makes Emsworth MSK a truly Musculo-SKeletal answer.

John trained at Surrey’s Raworth College and the renowned Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC UC) where he attained his postgraduate masters degree. In a previous role John has four years experience as a clinical lead providing NHS services for back and neck pain under Hampshire Backs with Back Active for North Hants Hospital / Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Outside of his practicing John is the Chair of the Royal College of Chiropractor’s Public Health Society (RCC PHS). The society aims to enable chiropractors to help shape the developing public health role of chiropractors, provide public health-focused CPD and access to valuable public health resources, develop links with the Royal Society for Public Health and other professionals and organisations linked to public health.
Although chiropractors are best known for treating back and neck pain, which they do very well, patients also consult chiropractors regarding a range of other, related conditions.
  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Joint pains including hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis
